I really should be in bed right now; it's 11:11 PM and all of my homework is done, but for the first time in forever I actually feel like updating my journal, so I suppose I should make the best of it while it lasts.

School's been... Rough, to say the least. The Fall Concert is coming up, and as the flute section leader, I have to make sure that my section is in tip-top shape. So, because I have an inner perfectionist when it comes to band, I've been ripping my hair out over this. I have a sectional Friday though, so all of this angsting I'm doing should be over then.

Tomorrow, I'm trying out for a part in the drama club's production this winter with my friend Celia. It shouldn't be too hard, since it's just a cold reading, but it's still something that's gnawing on my mind. Not to mention that I have a double physics block tomorrow. Joy.

The other day, innocenceisbliss came over and we made brownies. Since she wasn't staying for long, we decided to watch an episode of the X-Files. Well, one episode turned into two, and then that second episode turned into a cliff hanger... And long story short, she took the disc home. (Pusher, Duane Barry, and Ascension, if you were wondering dripping-leaf) Unfortunately, her DVD player wasn't working, so she wasn't able to see the conclusion of the story arc (which is especially awful since One Breath leaves you hanging until the very end.) innocenceisbliss we need to finish One Breath some time soon! Will Scully live or die? Will Mulder finally stop believing in little green men? Will Skinner actually have more than two lines? I can't stand the tension!

...I think the only bad thing about that viewing session was that I've been craving an X-File a day ever since. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

Also, I'm really excited for this game. Hopefully it will be coming out in the US in a somewhat timely fashion (Summer 2009, I'm looking at you).
